...to plan ahead that is. Yes my children, it's almost that time of year once again to celebrate our "gaiety"! (Personally, I celebrate everyday with a cocktail!) On Sunday, the 30th of this month, Stonewall Union will send off yet another Gay Pride Parade from Goodale Park. (The second address of several of my friends!) Let me cut to the chase with this the final week before the march, there have been and will be many fund-raisers around town to help with the cost of this event. Do Rosey a favor and plan to attend as many as possible! They NEED the money!! AND don't forget to attend all the spectacular events scheduled after the parade. I just love a parade! All those beautiful colors, all those half-naked people, all those martinis... Speaking of which... Rosey stopped by Clubhouse Cafe the other night to swing back a few, and who do I run into on posters but R. Bailey. Well, it seems as though his alter ego Maxine will be making a little appearance later this month. Now there's a gal that gives Rosey a "run for her money" in the liquor department. Watch for details. It should be fabulous!

I decided I'd better grab a bite to eat, so I made a beeline for the Grapevine Cafe. Now I hadn't been there in quite a while; so I was pleased to see such a large menu with all kinds of goodies for a girl to gobble down. I ordered one of everything, and "keep the martinis coming", I barked to my server Mitch. Well as luck would have it, several girlfriends stopped by, and my little table for two quickly became a party of 10. Or should I say, a table full of big hair and cheap perfume yes, Brazon Happy Hour at Union Station
has moved back to town!
Feeling an immediate need to shake a tail feather or two, we headed right around the corner to The Garage. Honey, you could smell the chicken from 20 paces. What I find interesting is that I thought this was a 21 and over bar. Funny how I spotted several of the "kids" here! You know, the same ones that go parading around The Eagle with big black "X's" on their hands on 18 and over night. Guess the door girl just ain't cuttin' the mustard. And don't think I didn't see you on the patio, "sniffing" around where you shouldn't be Daisy!
Last but not least my luvs, I must make a special mention of the ridiculous fight between Peg and some "Mafia-wanna-be" at The Eagle on Sunday. Peg got slapped around a few times and had her frock torn nearly off. All over a few words of fashion advice. Some people just don't have a sense of humor! This week's Rosey Award goes to Stonewall Union. Thanks for orchestrating our Gay Pride festivities. Keep up the good work!
As always... Cheers to ya!
